    The printed guide gives collection, sample preparation, and shipping instructions for the licensed professional performing the blood draw.

    Single-use prep and post-draw materials support the collection visit.

    Needle and Collection Tube

    A needle and plasma separation tube are used by the healthcare professional to perform the blood draw and store the sample.

    Plastic Biohazard Bag with Absorbent Material

    The labeled sample will be processed by the healthcare professional and then placed inside the plastic biohazard bag.

    Instant cold pack and foil pouch

    The cold pack and foil pouch keep the packaged sample cool during return shipping.

    Prepaid return label

    The included return label routes the packaged sample to the CLIA-certified U.S. laboratory partner.

    Order

    The kit ships with the materials needed for registration, collection, and shipment to the lab.

  2. 02

    Register & Complete Health Profile

    Scan the QR code before collection so the sample can be matched to your account and complete Health Profile information.

  3. 03

    Draw

    Use a mobile phlebotomy service or visit your healthcare provider for a standard blood draw and sample preparation.

  4. 04

    Return

    All materials are included for the sample to be cooled and shipped to the lab.

Collection

A trained healthcare professional performs the blood draw and sample processing. You can use a mobile collection service or visit your physician to complete the process.

Turnaround

Most results are available 7 days after the sample is returned to the lab for processing.

Storage

Kit can be stored at room temperature and the sample should be collected prior to the expiration date on the outer kit box.

Common questions.

Can I collect the blood sample myself?
No. The blood draw must be completed by a healthcare professional who will process, cool and package the sample prior to shipment to the laboratory.
Where does the sample go?
The collected sample is shipped to a CLIA-Certified U.S. Laboratory for analysis.
Who can order the test?
The suPARbio™ Systemic Chronic Inflammation Test is not currently available to residents of New York or to individuals under 18 years of age.
