How does the testing process work?
A kit ships to your home. You register it by scanning the QR code on the registration card. Use a mobile phlebotomy service or visit your healthcare provider for a standard blood draw and sample preparation. Most results are available 7 days after the sample is returned to the lab for processing.
Where is the lab, and is it certified?
Samples are processed at our commercially approved CLIA / CAP-certified laboratory partner in the United States. The underlying assay is the suPARnostic AUTO Flex ELISA, developed by ViroGates A/S in Denmark.
Who can take the test?
The test is available to adults 18 and over in the United States, with the exception of residents of the State of New York. We are working on expanded availability.
Is this covered by insurance?
The test is cash-pay. It is HSA / FSA eligible in most plans. We do not currently bill insurance.

What suPAR is, how it compares with familiar inflammatory markers, and how to read the context.
What is the suPAR biomarker, and why does it matter?
suPAR is a circulating protein released by activated immune cells. Unlike acute markers like CRP, suPAR reflects long-running immune activity, so it can provide context for systemic chronic inflammation over time. It is a marker, not a diagnosis.
How does the suPAR test compare to other biomarker tests?
Most familiar markers, including CRP and ESR, are tuned for acute inflammation. They can move with infection, injury, or short-term stress, then settle. suPAR is studied as a longer-horizon marker of immune activation and chronic low-grade inflammation. It complements markers your provider already uses; it does not replace them.
How soon will suPAR levels reflect lifestyle changes?
Research indicates that certain lifestyle changes may influence suPAR levels. Because suPAR moves on longer timeframes, many people retest at 90 to 180 days. Repeated testing over time can support a conversation with a qualified healthcare provider.

How does the suPARbio™ Systemic Chronic Inflammation Test estimate biological age?
The suPARbio Age Index is a statistical estimate from population-level data, not a direct or definitive measure of biological age. It compares your suPAR level to a healthy donor cohort of the same sex. The estimate is a reference, not a verdict.
How is the result delivered to the provider?
Results appear in the suPAR Bio Partner Portal dashboard and in the patient dashboard. A PDF copy is downloadable from the dashboard for the chart.

What does the suPAR Bio test offer in provider practice?
suPAR is a circulating biomarker related to immune activation and inflammation-related biology. It is intended to provide general information over time that can support conversations about systemic inflammation alongside health history, standard labs, symptoms, and provider judgment.
How is suPAR different from CRP and ESR in a provider workflow?
CRP and ESR are tuned for acute inflammation and move with infection, injury, and short-term stressors. suPAR is more stable across acute events and reflects immune activation and chronic low-grade inflammation. It is a complement to CRP / ESR, not a replacement.
What is the regulatory framework?
The test is offered as a Laboratory Developed Test under CLIA regulations and performed by our commercially approved CLIA / CAP-certified laboratory partner. It is not FDA-cleared or FDA-approved as an in-vitro diagnostic. Results are informational and intended to be interpreted by a qualified healthcare provider.
How do I onboard as a Partner Portal provider?
Application opens at /physicians/apply. The flow is NPI verification, a four-document attestation, and onboarding through our partner success team. First kit shipment follows approval.
What is the high-results protocol?
For results above 6 ng/mL, our third-party physician network reaches out to the patient directly to recommend they follow up with their healthcare provider. The suPARbio Age Index is not reported when SuPAR exceeds 6 ng/mL.
